Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush was written and illustrated by Jane Cabrera. It was published by Holiday House Inc.

Two dogs wake up in the morning and go to school on a “frosty” morning. They later go home. The end.

Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush is a book written for people that want to sing along. There’s a lot of repetition with the phrases in this story and I’m assuming it’s supposed to be recited in a cheerful singing style.

The actual story and characters really aren’t that interesting in this story (oh... the main characters are dogs). The text emphasizes “a cold and frosty” morning, afternoon and evening but I was trying to figure out the point of all of this... yeah, it’s cold and frosty but 80% of this book is spent indoors... another aspect about this book is that there’s NO tension. The dogs wake up, go to school and go home. Boring!

This book really doesn’t say anything except that on a cold and frosty day, we go about as usual.
