132 - Mouse Mess by Linnea Riley - children's book review

Mouse Mess.jpg

Mouse Mess was created by Linnea Riley. It was published by The Blue Sky Press in 1997.

A mouse goes into the kitchen while the family in this house is asleep. It makes an incredible mess and feels no shame about it. The end.

I have a feeling this family’s either going to set up some mouse traps in the house or get a cat. This mouse is terrible nuisance.

The art in this story is fabulous. The process is explained briefly on the inside of the back cover. I could guess how this was all done while reading the story.

The rhyming is perfect and any parent reading this to their child should be able to read this smoothly the first time through.

The mouse is thoroughly entertaining in this story. It just doesn’t give a damn what it does. It’s nice to have a character with this much attitude.

I love this story. Recommended!
